By Decision no. 991/28.09.2017, the Plenum of the Superior Council of Magistracy approved the participation of The National School of Clerks in the project Better applying European cross-border procedures: legal and language training for Court staff in Europe (EJTR – 806998) together with the European Network of Judicial Training (EJTN) and the Academy of European Law (ERA), but also with other judicial training institutions within the European Union in response to the European Commission’s call for proposals on judicial training – JUST-JTRA-EJTR-AG-2017 launched on the 15th of June 2017.

On the 16th of March 2018 the project coordinator – Academy of European Law (ERA) – informed The National School of Clerks that the project proposal Better applying European cross-border procedures: legal and language training for Court staff in Europe was selected for co-financing by the European Commission.

Training materials regarding the field of international judicial cooperation in civil matters will be developed within the project, which will subsequently be used as a unitary training support within the initial and continuous professional training activities carried out by NSC.

Also, our institution will organize and implement two legal seminars for 30 Romanian clerks each. The training will be based on introductory face-to-face presentations and the solving of developed case studies.

Finally, the School will select 20 Romanian clerks to attend the legal English language seminars to be held in the states of residence of the judicial training institutions members of the consortium. The seminars will be aimed at learning and developing the terminology specific to working with international cooperation tools. On the 25th of February 2019 the Cooperation Agreement between The National School of Clerks and the Academy of European Law regarding the implementation of the project was signed.
